Slim Aarons

Slim Aarons made a career of "photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," and some call him the undisputed king of Hollywood. I am fascinated by any picture involving a pool and/or beautiful colors, so I am a sure fan. I think the Bottega Veneta resort 2012 collection have the right Palm Springs feel to. The portrait of Marilyn Monroe reminds me of the Bottega Veneta fw 2011 black lace pieces (which are stunning by the way). I love the idea of wearing something like that around the house.

Kelly Cutrone sent me

Kelly Cutrone writes that bracelet shopping at the counter at Hermes is one of the great pleasures of life. I have done so once and it was wonderful! I bought a simple one I wear with bracelets bought in markets and a woven Bottega Veneta. I think the bracelet I would really want is the Collier de Chien, though, because of the heavy hardware. Bottega Veneta makes beautiful jewelry, like the knot bracelets, or woven key straps. Simplicity at it´s best!

The pictures are from hermes.com and bottegaveneta.com. You may order bracelets there! One is not enough!
